Portraits d'Ancêtres - 1/ Portraits of Ancestors - 1

Il est temps de vous dévoiler une partie d'un grand projet scrap qui me tient à coeur. Je vous en avais déjà parlé là.  Il n'est pas terminé car il y a plus d'une cinquantaine de pages à réaliser mais voici déjà le début. 

Pour la petite histoire ... Il y a environ 2 ans, nous avons déménagé la maison familiale de mon grand-père qui est parti vivre dans un plus petit appartement. De vieux albums photos de famille ont été trouvés dans le grenier. Un véritable trésor ! J'ai pris le temps de scanner pas mal de photos, et j'en ai sélectionné une petite trentaine pour les scrapper. Je ne connais pas la plupart de ces personnes mais c'est émouvant de savoir que ces photos ont été conservées précieusement et leur élégance m'a séduite.

Trève de blablas... j'ai altéré un livre sur la mode écrit en anglais et  déniché en brocante pour mettre ces photos en valeur en conservant certaines illustrations du livre que je trouvais intéressantes :

The story in short ... About 2 years ago, my grand-father moved to a small flat and sold the family house. We discovered old family photgraphy albums in the attic, a fabulous treasure for me !  I scanned many photos and I selected about thirty photos for my project. I don't know most of these people but it's moving to know that these photos were preciously kept and I love the sophistication of these people.

Well !... I've altered an English book about fashion found in a flea market and I've kept some interesting illustrations :
